Once a child’s bedroom above the garage, the Cedar Valley office is now a peaceful retreat for work, writing, and podcast conversations. We added millwork to give the room character, updated the floors with LVP, and layered rugs and drapes for softness and warmth. The existing window seat received a custom cushion, creating a cozy spot to pause.

A long worktable supports everyday tasks and podcast interviews, while comfortable swivel chairs offer a relaxed setting for welcoming guests.

We also designed with the room’s future in mind. Its timeless foundation can easily welcome twin beds, space to play, and visiting grandchildren someday. For now, it is a soothing space tucked away from the bustle of the home, ready for whatever the next chapter brings.
