The original Chadwick Lake kitchen was dark, angular, and no longer functional for our clients. With the interior and exterior walls remaining in place, we worked closely with our cabinetmaker to create a thoughtful layout shaped by what the homeowners had loved, and not loved, over the past 20 years.

We centered the range along the back wall and added a proper vent hood, creating a beautiful focal point and much needed exterior ventilation. A full wall of cabinetry now provides pantry storage, a coffee station, and appliance nooks, all concealed behind elegant doors. Additional cabinetry increased storage, while an extended island replaced the small kitchen table and now offers these empty nesters a flexible place to eat, work, and gather.
