If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I reach for large vases again and again when styling a space. Whether I’m finishing a console table, a kitchen counter, or built-ins, a beautiful vessel always finds its way into the mix.

I love large vases because they fill space in a way that feels intentional, not cluttered. They make a statement, add height and shape, and instantly draw the eye without overwhelming the room.

Over the years, I’ve collected several that I love — from textured ceramics to simple glass and classic earthenware. They’re pieces that work year-round and can shift beautifully with the seasons just by changing what’s inside them.

How I Style Them Through the Seasons
- Spring: soft greenery, budding branches, or faux cherry blossoms for a fresh, organic feel.
- Summer: simple stems of olive or eucalyptus, or even tall dried grasses for a relaxed, airy look.
- Fall: I love to bring in weight and warmth with dried hydrangeas, wheat, or preserved leaves.
- Winter: bare branches, evergreens, or pine clippings add natural texture and just the right touch of the season.
Large vases are one of those pieces that can completely transform a vignette with very little effort. They work beautifully on their own or paired with stacked books, a candle, or a small decorative accent.

I’ve linked a few of my favorite vases below — pieces I use in my own home and client projects — along with the stems I rotate throughout the year.
