There’s nothing better than seeing a long-awaited space come to life just in time for the season it was meant for—and this one was worth the wait. We recently wrapped up a poolside outdoor living project for a returning client who had already put in the work to bring their dream backyard to life with the help of a landscape architect and pool contractor. With the pool, spa, and hardscaping in place, our job was to bring the finishing touches—the comfort, color, and personality that truly make a space feel like home.

The client had already added bold red Adirondack chairs around the firepit and wanted to carry that pop of color throughout the rest of the outdoor space. We embraced that direction by incorporating red accents in playful but intentional ways—pillows, vibrant umbrellas, and even a custom poolside sign that added a little personality and charm.

Safety was also a top priority. At one corner of the pool where the landscaping drops off, our client was concerned about kids accidentally falling while playing. To address that, we placed large, heavy planters in just the right spots—beautiful and practical, they create a natural barrier while blending seamlessly into the space. One of our favorite additions? A dreamy swivel daybed—what we like to call the “mom oasis.” It’s tucked perfectly poolside for reading, lounging, or just taking a quiet moment while the kids swim. It’s personal touches like this that transform a space from functional to truly special.

Now, this family’s outdoor space is fully ready for summer—complete with thoughtful design, layered comfort, and just the right amount of fun. We’re so thrilled our repeat clients get to enjoy their new retreat before the Georgia heat hits its peak.
