Are you looking for an easy patriotic centerpiece? Here is one I created on a whim for Memorial Day and loved. I only shared a view of it on Instagram stories and so many people loved it. Only makes sense then to share the details here so you can create one too.
To lots of Americans, summertime is baseball and red, white and blue. While we are not a baseball family, my boys play other sports, we do enjoy going once or twice a year to see the Atlanta Braves. Or if we are lucky, our alma maters will come to play UGA, and we will scoop up tickets to see them.
The baseballs I used are ones we picked up at recent college and AAA baseball games. You can always pick some up here
I used a lidded jar I had on hand. I’m pretty sure it’s local antique shop which it made it feel even more nostalgic.
Once you have the baseballs in the jar, add in your American flags. I used four 8×12 flags for this arrangement. You can always use more or fewer flags and different sizes, depending on the jar or vessel size.
I placed a red and white checkered tablecloth on our table with this baseball/flag centerpiece, and it was a hit.
Honestly, it will probably stay out in our home and slide onto tables as a staple centerpiece all Summer long.
What do you think? Will you try this one out? If you do, I would love to know.
Happy Summer!
Lyndsey
