An Honest Review on Polywood Furniture

Outdoor Living

June 8, 2023

Last Spring, when I designed our pool, I hunted for outdoor furniture that I would only have to purchase once. I wanted quality pieces that were classic, timeless, rust-proof, and fade-proof. That’s a pretty tall order in the arena of outdoor furniture.

After a TON of research, I landed on Polywood. The reviews were solid. Here is what you should know about Polywood products. They are made from recycled plastic with zero waste. The color is mixed with the melted plastic to ensure the color stays and doesn’t fade. Polywood is made in the USA and comes with a 20-year warranty. They guarantee it won’t splinter, crack, chip, or peel. Each piece is designed for durability against sun, salt, rain, snow, ice, and wind.

After a year of having Polywood products around our pool in Georgia, I can 100% tell you they are worth the investment and the hype. We left them out all year long, and they still look as good as the day they were installed.

I’m saving now for a table and chairs to add to our collection.

We chose the Curved Back Modern Adirondack chairs in gray. You can shop for them here

We chose the Nautical Chase with arms and wheels in gray. The arms provide a more natural rest state for us, and the wheels make it super easy to move them around the pool deck. You can Shop for them here

There are a lot of products out there that are similar to Polywood. So far, these are the only ones I have personally had, and can vouch for the fact that they are excellent quality.

Do you have Polywood products? Have you ever heard of Polywood? Have a question, reach out!

As always, thanks for stopping by,

Lyndsey

Where do you recommend purchasing Polywood outdoor furniture from? Thank you!

    • Lyndsey says:

Hi there. We purchased from a local store for our pool furniture. But we have purchased through Polywood directly and Lowe’s for our clients. They still carry the Polywood warranty.

I’m thinking of purchasing some Polywood furniture. Two questions::

    1. Is it sturdy? Does it have some heft?

    2. Does it look and feel like plastic? Does it have a wood grain design?

    Thank you?

    • Lyndsey says:

Yes to question number one. It doesnt look like real wood. Please read my post and look closely at the photos we have shared. Thanks so much. Good Luck.
