The Brock Project is full of beautiful architectural details you are sure to love. When we first met with this family to talk about the design of their home, we very quickly realized their love for detailed architectural design.
They recently got their CO and we couldn’t wait any longer to share some of the details with you. Disclaimer….these are all iPhone photos and professional ones are to come, but we thought you might like the candid shots through the lens or our personal iPhone.
One of the very first layouts we walked with the clients was this fireplace. With a 24 vaulted ceiling, this fireplace had to be grand. It was tweaked a few times throughout the build but we love where they settled on this pre-cast concrete fireplace.
I love how the white oak tresses hug this 24 foot vault and help to anchor the room to the floor. If you follow up on Instagram, you will remember the day that I road a scissor lift to the top with my client to ensure the painter was mixing the perfect match for these beauties.
And who can miss this showstopper of a lighting fixture?! I love it because it has candelabra on both sides of the wheel giving a beautiful illumination to the entire space.
This kitchen is dreamy. We mixed painted cabinets in White Duck with a white oak island. Marble countertops and backsplash to keep with the grand necessity of this open concept space.
Off the kitchen there is a butler’s pantry complete with stunning natural light, custom cabinetry, a large sink and a second dishwasher. For me, this is a dream space.
If you love checkerboard tile, you are going to love the back hallway, guest bath and laundry room. This gorgeous detail was achieved with matte porcelain tile.
And some of my very favorite pieces of this home are found in the cabinetry, hardware, plumbing and lighting selections. Looking back over all of these today, we feel incredibly honored to have been a part of this project.
I’ll wrap this up with this last classic detail……
We can’t wait until we bring you professional photos of this home. But for now, enjoy all of the lovely details through our personal lens.
